After 2 played minutes OS IMPOSSIVEIS got a freekick which was hit by Haşim Akdemirci. Valério Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Gotfryd in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Nazario Serre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Williamson having to interfere. When Witold Gotfryd came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the OS IMPOSSIVEIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Gotfryd couldn't finish the play. Nicky Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Vander in the 17th minute. Paulo Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Nazario Serre. Papunhas EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho de Carvalho in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Agostinho de Carvalho was slow to take the kick. During this time Papunhas EC's players had a chance to rest. If Paulo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicky Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho de Carvalho in the 31st minute of play. Paulo Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ismael Nazario Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Gotfryd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Inácio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 39th minute of the match. If Witold Gotfryd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inácio Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nicky Williamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Cardozo lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in OS IMPOSSIVEIS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute, Papunhas EC got a penalty, and Agostinho de Carvalho placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar de Moraes was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to OS IMPOSSIVEIS getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Witold Gotfryd hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Telmo Peres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicky Williamson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicky Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Matorin in the 61st minute of play. Jerônimo Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Paulo Vander came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Papunhas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Vander couldn't finish the play. Valdemar de Moraes took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicky Williamson. Nicky Williamson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşim Akdemirci in the 75th minute of play. With an all-out effort, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Ismael Nazario Serre threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucas Lopez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Matorin in the 77th minute of play forced OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar de Moraes. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Valdemar de Moraes hit a great ball. Lucas Lopez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto de Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Matorin in the 85th minute of play forced OS IMPOSSIVEIS's goalkeeper Nicky Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Lucas Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. Lucas Lopez made a great header on OS IMPOSSIVEIS's corner, it was just that Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd match minute, OS IMPOSSIVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Lucas Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Papunhas EC had won after a very even match.
