Spectators: 7684 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Cabral took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Ajax AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Douglas Cabral hit a great ball. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ajax AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charles Pimenta was slow to take the kick. During this time Nitra FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Charles Pimenta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ajax AFC's Camilo Chale did a great save. Douglas Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Nitra FC's Oliver Veentjer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oliver Veentjer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nitra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oliver Veentjer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nitra FC! If Fernandão Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro Sousa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Cabral in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Williams Ferrari charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Williams Ferrari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Williams Ferrari hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Pedrinho Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nitra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 minutes of play, Ajax AFC's Fernandão Azevedo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Douglas Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ajax AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Cabral couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Ferrari to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Cabral in the 44th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Van Beets came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Castro to make the kick off. If Fernandão Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Nitra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandão Azevedo came free, but Jerônimo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Fernandão Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ajax AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 59th match minute, Ajax AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxwell Cestarolli to maneuver through the defense. Marc Van Beets kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Azevedo in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Matheus Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nitra FC and the Ajax AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ajax AFC booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Pitta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandão Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 73 in the game by Fernandão Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Jerônimo Maranhense managed to make a qualified save. Nitra FC's players were relieved. Douglas Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jerônimo Maranhense made a huge save. Jerônimo Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandão Azevedo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Douglas Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nitra FC's attentive Williams Ferrari managed to snatch the ball when Maxwell Cestarolli made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Charles Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ajax AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ajax AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
