Augusto Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Freire having to interfere. When Augusto Stephen fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goblins F.C.'s protests and gave Augusto Stephen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Augusto Stephen hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Claudinho Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Edvard Carlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Víktor Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ibirama Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Correia in the 58th minute. The corner ended in Hugo Correia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan did a great save. Goblins F.C. were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Stephen took the corner. Marcinho Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. Davi Hoffmann hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Vangel Hrulev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goblins F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibirama Futebol Clube the free kick. Vangel Hrulev kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Shen Yi Yuan made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Hugo Correia sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes Goblins F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Correia who took care of the corner kick. Sérgio Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shen Yi Yuan having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Goblins F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renan Jacinto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. The Goblins F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
