After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Enio Azevedo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Charles Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shen Yi Yuan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jerônimo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 13th minute of play. Yuri Tutorskiy came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shen Yi Yuan could save by the left post. Yuri Tutorskiy struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Shen Yi Yuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. If Yuri Tutorskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cris Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Carlsson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerônimo Maranhense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Tutorskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrinho Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nitra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goblins F.C. the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Nitra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Castro to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Tutorskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Shen Yi Yuan made a huge save. Williams Ferrari kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Augusto Stephen made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Yuri Tutorskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nitra FC and the Goblins F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Tutorskiy. In the 56th minute, Augusto Stephen made a precise shot to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. Nitra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 61 minutes into the match Edvard Carlsson climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Jerônimo Maranhense. Shen Yi Yuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Yuri Tutorskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shen Yi Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo Maranhense was a little too slow when Augusto Stephen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Stephen got free with Jerônimo Maranhense in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvard Carlssons short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Jerônimo Maranhense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edvard Carlsson in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cris Beckenbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Maranhense having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Pimenta. Augusto Stephen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Williams Ferrari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goblins F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nitra FC's much stronger midfield.
