The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tope Ponta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quim Almedia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Rômulo Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Quim Almedia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quim Almedia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Barradas FC's Tope Ponta. But to his dismay, Tope Ponta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Quim Almedia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rômulo Negri went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Tope Ponta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Quim Almedia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Vachon kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Não Venha Que é Barril FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tope Ponta came free, but Quim Almedia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barradas FC's José Maria Arce got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Tope Ponta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quim Almedia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barradas FC booed when Não Venha Que é Barril FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barradas FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Não Venha Que é Barril FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tope Ponta took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Francileudo Piauí advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Rômulo Negri put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Quim Almedia. Tope Ponta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quim Almedia having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Não Venha Que é Barril FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Negri came free, but Quim Almedia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Rômulo Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quim Almedia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kauan Guedes made a kick off. Não Venha Que é Barril FC's Quim Almedia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Não Venha Que é Barril FC from getting a goal against them. Quim Almedia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rômulo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Francileudo Piauí had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quim Almedia. Não Venha Que é Barril FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francileudo Piauí was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Não Venha Que é Barril FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tope Ponta was slow to take the kick. During this time Barradas FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 64th minute, Francileudo Piauí made a precise shot to the right of Quim Almedia. Não Venha Que é Barril FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. 68 minutes in the game, Lauro Sá fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quim Almedia having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Barradas FC's Tope Ponta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quim Almedia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Quim Almedia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Tope Ponta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lauro Sá's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Quim Almedia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrija Kažanegra got free with Quim Almedia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rômulo Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Quim Almedia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quim Almedia was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Francileudo Piauí capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francileudo Piauí really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. If Rômulo Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Não Venha Que é Barril FC's goalkeeper Quim Almedia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro Sá. Rômulo Negri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Quim Almedia when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
