Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) 6 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sergipano came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Valadares in the 9th minute of play. Countdown FC's Washington Demartis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 13 minutes in the game, fortunately Artur Bueno had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Countdown FC booed when Nottingham Forrest F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Sergipano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Er Miner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Countdown FC got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Rezende. 26 minutes into the match, Countdown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sergipano came free, but Er Miner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Er Miner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nottingham Forrest F.C's Artur Bueno got control of the ball when Dorival Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sergipano in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Nottingham Forrest F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sergipano to make the kick off. Washington Demartis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Bueno having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Nottingham Forrest F.C got a freekick which was hit by Téo Sampaio. João Vítor Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Sergipano took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Er Miner. Er Miner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nottingham Forrest F.C's Aníbal Ramalho was substituted for Nestor Paraibano. 65 minutes into the game, Diguinho Rezende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Countdown FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nottingham Forrest F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Countdown FC's Diguinho Rezende got a free kick in the 65th minute. Nicolas Sergipano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Er Miner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Nottingham Forrest F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Pombal. Nicolas Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Countdown FC's Válter Dante got a free kick in the 76th minute. Nottingham Forrest F.C's Richard Campidelis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diguinho Rezende, made in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute Nicolas Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Er Miner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Countdown FC's Er Miner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sergipano in the 81st minute of play. Artur Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Barros in the 85th minute of the match. Countdown FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Nottingham Forrest F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Washington Demartis took the corner.
