After a rather tough play, Goiatuba E.C.'s Ramon Lugo got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Goiatuba E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Egil Heggedal came free, but Marcel Kühlert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Belmiro Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Egil Heggedal in the 11th minute of play forced Goiatuba E.C.'s goalkeeper Marcel Kühlert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 刘升康, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartjan Pelsers hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Goiatuba E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when 刘升康 came free, but Marcel Kühlert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 刘升康 took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Tor-Egil Heggedal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Kühlert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Morungaba SC booed when Goiatuba E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Goiatuba E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Fonseca came free, but Marcel Kühlert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Goiatuba E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bartjan Pelsers. Tor-Egil Heggedal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Kühlert having to interfere. Marcel Kühlert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Fonseca in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, 刘升康 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcel Kühlert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 55th minute, Morungaba SC's Tor-Egil Heggedal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Fonseca in the 58th minute of play. Belmiro Porto's late challenge caught a Morungaba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Porto helped the player get up and apologised. Marcel Kühlert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Balada went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Enrique Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Ramon Lugo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Torres skillfully saved the ball. 刘升康's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Marcel Kühlert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 76 minutes of play Goiatuba E.C.'s Belmiro Porto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 76th match minute, Goiatuba E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Porto to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Kühlert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor-Egil Heggedal in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Tor-Egil Heggedal made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Kühlert. Goiatuba E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. A collision led to Goiatuba E.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bartjan Pelsers hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Goiatuba E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Lugo. After a defensive mix-up in Goiatuba E.C.'s zone, Tor-Egil Heggedal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Kühlert came out of the goal and Tor-Egil Heggedal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Balada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Morungaba SC's 刘升康 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 刘升康 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Morungaba SC's Tor-Egil Heggedal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Kühlert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Morungaba SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
