The Morungaba SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Torres should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Edson Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nestor Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nestor Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Morungaba SC booed when ARGENTINO JNR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, ARGENTINO JNR's Nestor Torres threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edson Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Morungaba SC's Alf Odman in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Uriondo in the 88th minute of play forced Morungaba SC's goalkeeper Nestor Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Lin Gang in the 92nd minute of the match.
