Marcel Kühlert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Goiatuba E.C.'s Caco Arantes got a free kick in the 9th minute. Hudson Mendes took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marcel Kühlert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Travassos in the 17th minute of play. Marcel Kühlert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcel Kühlert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Corrêa in the 24th minute of play. Igapira AD's João Adolfo Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Igapira AD from getting a goal against them. After 26 minutes of play, Igapira AD's Bruninho Fernandes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Kühlert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dudu Guerra took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Igapira AD's Denílson Nunes got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Marcel Kühlert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Marcel Kühlert came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Igapira AD's Denílson Nunes. But to his dismay, Denílson Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Marcel Kühlert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Cássio Travassos notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Augusto de Brito to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Fernandes in the 53rd minute of play forced Goiatuba E.C.'s goalkeeper Marcel Kühlert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Kühlert made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Bruninho Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Hudson Mendes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Marcel Kühlert 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert got control of the ball when Dudu Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Cássio Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Kühlert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Igapira AD's Claudinho Bertassi was substituted for Hudson Mendes. A collision led to Goiatuba E.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Caco Arantes hit a great ball. Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Bertassi in the 73rd minute of play. Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Dracena in the 78th minute of play forced Igapira AD's goalkeeper João Adolfo Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Kühlert came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Igapira AD's Cássio Travassos. But to his dismay, Cássio Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Cipriano Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcel Kühlert made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Cássio Travassos took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Marcel Kühlert to make any attempt to save it. Marcel Kühlert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Bertassi in the 91st minute of the match. Marcel Kühlert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Fernandes in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Linhares during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Igapira AD got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Linhares.
