The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Augusto de Brito during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, José Augusto de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geert Wijgaert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Kühlert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcel Kühlert was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Geert Wijgaert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geert Wijgaert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Geert Wijgaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcel Kühlert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geert Wijgaert in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Goiatuba E.C.'s zone, Davi Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Kühlert came out of the goal and Davi Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Kühlert came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by MAGNIFICOS.FC's Geert Wijgaert. But to his dismay, Geert Wijgaert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Geert Wijgaert struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcel Kühlert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAGNIFICOS.FC. 37 minutes into the game, Geert Wijgaert lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Geert Wijgaert sent off a good shot on target. After 42 minutes Goiatuba E.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Lalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gilberto Lalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcel Kühlert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gilberto Lalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel Kühlert firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leonardo Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Caco Arantes made the kick off in the second half. Geert Wijgaert scored 6-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Kühlert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geert Wijgaert took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcel Kühlert. Marcel Kühlert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Geert Wijgaert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Kühlert having to make a save. 60 minutes into the game, Geert Wijgaert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Marcel Kühlert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcel Kühlert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Wijgaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Geert Wijgaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Kühlert was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 74th match minute, Goiatuba E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Goiatuba E.C.'s Gugu Abraão got a free kick in the 75th minute. Marcel Kühlert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geert Wijgaert went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Geert Wijgaert sped through Goiatuba E.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Kühlert. In the 85th match minute, Goiatuba E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. When MAGNIFICOS.FC's Geert Wijgaert in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goiatuba E.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Geert Wijgaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goiatuba E.C.'s Marcel Kühlert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, MAGNIFICOS.FC's Geert Wijgaert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Kühlert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belmiro Porto's late challenge caught a MAGNIFICOS.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Porto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th minute Geert Wijgaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Kühlert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MAGNIFICOS.FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
