Nico Corrêa's late challenge caught a MAGNIFICOS.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nico Corrêa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Diamond Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Flávio de Carvalho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cléberson Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geert Wijgaert in the 30th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Diamond Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Nico Corrêa. In the 41st minute Geert Wijgaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for MAGNIFICOS.FC. Geert Wijgaert stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cléberson Alves. 1-2. The Diamond Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MAGNIFICOS.FC were winning 1-2.

MAGNIFICOS.FC's Cristoforo Balestra was substituted for Leonardo Paz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Soeiro was the one to do the kick off. Edgard Loureiro made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MAGNIFICOS.FC's Pedro Requena. MAGNIFICOS.FC's Lara Guadalupi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Borges in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geert Wijgaert in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cléberson Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Pedro Requena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Diamond Football Club's Cléberson Alves got control of the ball when Geert Wijgaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamond Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Geert Wijgaert scored to the left of an out of position Cléberson Alves, making the score, 1-4. MAGNIFICOS.FC made a substitution. Valério Ortiz replaced Geert Wijgaert. Cléberson Alves came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by MAGNIFICOS.FC's Pedro Requena. But to his dismay, Pedro Requena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The audience was convinced that Valério Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cléberson Alves was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Diamond Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MAGNIFICOS.FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MAGNIFICOS.FC.
