Spectators: 7712 (Terracing: 5788, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Soeiro kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Diamond Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Brasil came free, but Cléberson Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Mineiro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Albertinho Borges scored to the left of an out of position Fynn John, making the score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Borges in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fynn John saved Atlético Mineiro from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Atlético Mineiro's César de Queiroz got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Corrêa in the 21st minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertinho Borges came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fynn John could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Couto during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cléberson Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Brasil in the 26th minute of play. Wilian Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fynn John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomé Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Tomé Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nico Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tomé Brasil hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Alexandre Soeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fynn John. Atlético Mineiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Mineiro!

The wind increased when Olívio França made the kick off in the second half. Fynn John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Loureiro hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Borges came free, but Fynn John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Best's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cléberson Alves firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edgard Loureiro hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Diamond Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Couto to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Alves made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Olívio França sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by César de Queiroz. César de Queiroz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Fynn John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Tomé Brasil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléberson Alves. Diamond Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. There was no doubt that Diamond Football Club were the better team. Diamond Football Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
