Keke 甘 started the match with the kick off. After 9 played minutes Cavalos Cansados got a freekick which was hit by André Moraes. Guto Freitas made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by André Moraes. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keke 甘, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Guto Freitas with André Moraes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pena in the 20th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Arruda. Rubinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Cearense in the 24th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Real Cruzeiro FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paulo Tinoco hit a great ball. Paulo Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, André Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavalos Cansados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rubinho de Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Pena in the 36th minute of play. Gonçalo Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Cavalos Cansados's Keke 甘 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubinho de Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Real Cruzeiro FC defense, João Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho de Amaral. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho de Amaral should have stopped the shot. In the 45th minute, João Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Cavalos Cansados were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55thth minute of the game João Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Cristian Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubinho de Amaral. The goal made the score 0-5. 64 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Keke 甘 came free, but Rubinho de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keke 甘, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. João Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rubinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Moraes came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rubinho de Amaral could save by the left post. Rubinho de Amaral came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Cavalos Cansados's Keke 甘. But to his dismay, Keke 甘 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 73rd minute João Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Cavalos Cansados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Passos to maneuver through the defense. Tales Salgado's late challenge caught a Cavalos Cansados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Tales Salgado. Rubinho de Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keke 甘 went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Silva in the 89th minute of play. When Gonçalo Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Cruzeiro FC's protests and gave Gonçalo Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Sarmento. Cavalos Cansados's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
