The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bahia City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remo Goiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Remo Goiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Ivarsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bahia City's Peter Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Vale in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Fellipe Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahia City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raining Blood the free kick. After 33 played minutes Bahia City got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Machado. Peter Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Raining Blood's André Olsman got control of the ball when Anderson Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Raining Blood's corner Carlos Alberto Torres fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Ivarsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Raining Blood got a corner. Bahia City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jesus Niguel came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Peter Ivarsson could save by the left post. Igor Senna's late challenge caught a Raining Blood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Raining Blood's Umberto Vale in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bahia City's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes of play, Bahia City's Anderson Sousa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Olsman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peter Ivarsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Raining Blood's Umberto Vale shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Peter Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Vale in the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Bahia City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anderson Sousa hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Raining Blood had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
