In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mixto Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Rafael Dallris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rubinho de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eino Niitsoo in the 17th minute of the match. Rafael Dallris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Carmona in the 20th minute of play. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eino Niitsoo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Mixto Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Baltazar Zonta came free, but Rafael Dallris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Baltazar Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dallris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Santos lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 91st minute, one of Mixto Esporte Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mixto Esporte Clube. Rafael Dallris had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Baltazar Zonta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Mixto Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Inácio Lago hit a great ball. Rafael Dallris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Carmona in the 98th minute. The Mixto Esporte Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Cruzeiro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Cruzeiro FC.
