Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Zandarin FC's Marinos Androulakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Dallris made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Dráusio Diniz sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Dráusio Diniz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 16 minutes into the match, Dráusio Diniz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mixto Esporte Clube's Rafael Dallris. Rafael Dallris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Dráusio Diniz could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Rafael Dallris however easily saved by the left post. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mixto Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pedrinho Donatello was slow to take the kick. During this time Zandarin FC's players had a chance to rest. Rogério Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Dráusio Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Dallris. Mixto Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dráusio Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eugênio Negri's late challenge caught a Zandarin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugênio Negri helped the player get up and apologised. Eugênio Negri hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dráusio Diniz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mixto Esporte Clube's Cesinha Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Luís Seco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Inácio Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mixto Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesinha Leal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Rogério Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mixto Esporte Clube. In the 46th minute, Cesinha Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Negri made a kick off. Rafael Dallris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Souza in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Dráusio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zandarin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráusio Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute of the match Pedrinho Donatello shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Dallris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rafael Dallris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match Zandarin FC got a corner. Mixto Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrinho Donatello ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Dráusio Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Mixto Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Diniz in the 76th minute of play forced Mixto Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Rafael Dallris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Camargo. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Negri in the 80th minute of play. Cesinha Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Camargo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alfredinho Camargo hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Mixto Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Diniz came free, but Rafael Dallris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mixto Esporte Clube's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zandarin FC had won, even though Mixto Esporte Clube had held more of the ball.
