Romeu Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Velasco in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Erivaldo de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jampa City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Esportivo Aimoré the free kick. Erivaldo de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Ildefonso Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Washington dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Gomes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ildefonso Pelagius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waldir Seco. That made the score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. Romeu Gomes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin Velasco went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Erivaldo de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Seco. Clube Esportivo Aimoré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erivaldo de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Jampa City FC's Ildefonso Pelagius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Seco. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. Waldir Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gary Speed in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Jampa City FC's Gary Speed ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldir Seco. Eduino Provencio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduino Provencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Clube Esportivo Aimoré getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ildefonso Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Seco having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jampa City FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
