After recieving a nice pass, Paulista Futebol Clube's Horácio Campidelis tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Hugo da Silveira made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Serafim Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Jacinto skillfully saved the ball. Tiaguinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Hugo da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hugo da Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulista Futebol Clube's protests and gave Hugo da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead.
