Samagara Real - DMZ's Zhou Chen Yan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jampa City FC's zone, Enrique Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Gomes came out of the goal and Enrique Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Berger might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute Paolo Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Enio Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samagara Real - DMZ's protests and gave Enio Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the match, Samagara Real - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Pelagius came free, but Celsinho Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celsinho Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Pelagius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celsinho Bueno was a little too slow when Ildefonso Pelagius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Samagara Real - DMZ booed when Jampa City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo de Souza in the 28th minute of play forced Jampa City FC's goalkeeper Romeu Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Paolo Diaz made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jampa City FC's Romeu Gomes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Samagara Real - DMZ's Paolo Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Gomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Romeu Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Diaz's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Diaz was the one to do the kick off. Jampa City FC's Romeu Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Jampa City FC from getting a goal against them. Samagara Real - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Jampa City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Palma took the corner. In the 56th minute, Luís Eduardo de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Jampa City FC's Romeu Gomes got control of the ball when Luís Eduardo de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Samagara Real - DMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jampa City FC.
