A wasted opportunity for COPO CHEIO. 23 minutes into the game, Vito Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Waldir Seco. Vito Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, José Vítor Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Seco. Clube Esportivo Aimoré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Vítor Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Vito Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Seco was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, COPO CHEIO's Claudinho Guimarães got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Esportivo Aimoré's goalkeeper Waldir Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Åke Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franklin Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Waldir Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, José Vítor Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Xalbador Zaplana made a precise shot to the right of Waldir Seco. Clube Esportivo Aimoré's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 78 minutes into the match, COPO CHEIO's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Velasco came free, but Caio Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Claudinho Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. There was no doubt that COPO CHEIO were the better team. COPO CHEIO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
