The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Furlan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Dário Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Souto in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Lucas Juniors getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. João da Mata hit a great ball. Ulisses Marquez took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Saldanha. Dário Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Condors F.C.'s Cipriano Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Ulisses Marquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Cipriano Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Ulisses Marquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Condors F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Carioca during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Condors F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Lino Carioca hit a great ball. João da Mata hit a great ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lucas Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Americo Beltza was slow to take the kick. During this time Condors F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. In the 38th minute Americo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Condors F.C.'s Cipriano Souto in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lucas Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Ulisses Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Condors F.C.'s Ulisses Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Condors F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulinho Mangueira to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dário Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Enio da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulisses Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dário Saldanha. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Lucas Juniors's goalkeeper Dário Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Souto. Dário Saldanha was a little too slow when Americo Beltza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-5. Americo Beltza might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Beltza ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulisses Marquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Saldanha having to make a save. Dário Saldanha came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Condors F.C.'s Americo Beltza. But to his dismay, Americo Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 81st minute, Condors F.C.'s Ulisses Marquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 86 minutes into the game, Ulisses Marquez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dário Saldanha. Ulisses Marquez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 89 minutes into the match, Cipriano Souto notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Lucas Juniors's Dário Saldanha. Dário Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cipriano Souto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 98th playminute.
