The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dário Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Berger in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Abel Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Paes scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Saldanha having to make a save. 20 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dário Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Diaz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dário Saldanha saved Lucas Juniors from getting behind. The Samagara Real - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Samagara Real - DMZ's Paolo Diaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dário Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Diaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lucas Juniors's Dário Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Diaz in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Dário Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Paolo Diaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samagara Real - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. If Paolo Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juarês Vander lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Dário Saldanha, was totally fooled by Samagara Real - DMZ's Alfredo Palma, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 73 minutes of play, Samagara Real - DMZ's Paolo Diaz made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dário Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Diaz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Samagara Real - DMZ's Luís Eduardo de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dário Saldanha. That made the score 0-13 after 78 minutes of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Paolo Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samagara Real - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Diaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes, João da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lucas Juniors and the Samagara Real - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Lucas Juniors got a freekick which was hit by João da Mata. Abel Berger might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Paes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Saldanha having to make a save. Lucas Juniors's Dário Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Lucas Juniors from getting a goal against them. Abel Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 0-15 when Paolo Diaz sped through Lucas Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dário Saldanha. Samagara Real - DMZ played a much better game than Lucas Juniors and deserved their victory. The Lucas Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
