Tocantinópolis EC's Hudson da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo da Silveira in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tocantinópolis EC defense, Reynaldo da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson da Cunha. The Tocantinópolis EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Hudson da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo da Rocha in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Tocantinópolis EC's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo da Rocha came free, but Hudson da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Michel Bagge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tocantinópolis EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Bagge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Reynaldo da Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hudson da Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Paulo da Rocha took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hudson da Cunha. Hudson da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Tocantinópolis EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Murillo Vargas hit a great ball. Hudson da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Bagge in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hudson da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Reynaldo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Magoo BR got a freekick which was hit by Raí Queiroz. After having played for 48 minutes, Thiago Perfumo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocantinópolis EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Perfumo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Magoo BR's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Bagge came free, but Edinho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Magoo BR got a corner. Tocantinópolis EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raí Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Robinho Quintal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tocantinópolis EC's Hudson da Cunha did a great save. With a little luck, Tocantinópolis EC's Hudson da Cunha got control of the ball when José Paulo da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Magoo BR's José Paulo da Rocha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Reynaldo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson da Cunha having to interfere. Iuri Cosme hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tocantinópolis EC's Hudson da Cunha got control of the ball when José Paulo da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. If José Paulo da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Marcelo Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Magoo BR's Reynaldo da Silveira got a free kick in the 86th minute. Reynaldo da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hudson da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo da Rocha scored 0-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hudson da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
