Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Germano Vargas started the match with the kick off. Hélio Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Vargas in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the New Colorado defense, Michel Bagge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Paiva. The New Colorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Paiva should have stopped the shot. 秦卫沙 hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jardel Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Latomme in the 9th minute of the match. New Colorado's Jardel Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Latomme in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Henk Latomme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Latomme in the 17th minute of play forced New Colorado's goalkeeper Jardel Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vito Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Paiva came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tocantinópolis EC's Michel Bagge. But to his dismay, Michel Bagge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Germano Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the New Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Vargas couldn't finish the play. Jardel Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Bagge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tocantinópolis EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Eger in the 39th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luís Eger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jardel Paiva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 40 played minutes New Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Germano Vargas. After a rather tough play, Tocantinópolis EC's Amauri Corrêa got a free kick in the 47th minute. After having played for 48 minutes, Germano Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Colorado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The New Colorado players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tocantinópolis EC were winning 0-3.

In the 52nd minute, Henk Latomme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Sílvio Santos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes New Colorado got a freekick which was hit by 秦卫沙. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Henk Latomme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tocantinópolis EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Latomme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Henk Latomme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jardel Paiva, 0-5. Germano Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New Colorado's Jardel Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save New Colorado from getting a goal against them. Iuri Cosme hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Tocantinópolis EC's Adam De Bruijn was substituted for Silvano Abechuco. Tocantinópolis EC made a substitution. Murillo Vargas replaced Michel Bagge. In the 74th match minute, Tocantinópolis EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Cosme to maneuver through the defense. New Colorado's Germano Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tocantinópolis EC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luís Eger hit a great ball. Tocantinópolis EC's Hélio Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Pirani in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes New Colorado got a freekick which was hit by 秦卫沙. 81 minutes into the match, Henk Latomme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jardel Paiva, 0-6. Jardel Paiva stood somewhat misplaced when Henk Latomme came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Jardel Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Latomme, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Murillo Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jardel Paiva. The goal made the score 0-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tocantinópolis EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
