Flávio Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th minute, Engenheiros da Vila's Geraldo Fernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 13th minute of the match Engenheiros da Vila got a corner. Xanda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gernando Sarmento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Fernandez in the 18th minute of play. Christiano Ronaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Fernandez in the 28th minute. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Engenheiros da Vila's Geraldo Fernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ian Melo. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. Ian Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Jacinto in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Sérgio Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Norberto da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Sérgio Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Ian Melo. Xanda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 42 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Panella. In the 46th match minute, Xanda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Ramos to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Norberto da Silva made the kick off in the second half. Ian Melo came out of the goal in the 50th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiros da Vila's Gernando Sarmento. But to his dismay, Gernando Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Matías Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eriberto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Queirós made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Umberto Martins sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Fernandez in the 60th minute of play forced Xanda FC's goalkeeper Ian Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tõnu Ojaste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Matías Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Xanda FC defense, Adriano Panella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Melo. The Xanda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Melo should have stopped the shot. Ian Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraldo Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Xanda FC defense, Geraldo Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Melo. The Xanda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Melo should have stopped the shot. Tõnu Ojaste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Melo having to interfere. Jânio Baptista hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Guedes in the 85th minute of play. Ian Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Guedes in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xanda FC's Matías Guedes got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Engenheiros da Vila had played much better football throughout.
