An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Mota in the 12th minute of play forced Palmares Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Francisco Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrézinho Alcântara hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Alcântara's late challenge caught a Superação's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrézinho Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Palmares Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Andrézinho Alcântara hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Abel Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fellipe Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Velloso in the 33rd minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Superação's Abel Paulista made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Alagoano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Andrézinho Mota notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Palmares Futebol Clube's Francisco Alagoano. Francisco Alagoano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Francisco Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Paulista in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Superação was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Eger to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Abel Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Alagoano. Palmares Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 68 minutes, Abel Paulista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Superação and the Palmares Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Superação was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Francisco Alagoano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute, Palmares Futebol Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Célio Eger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dário Moreira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Mota took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Alagoano. Francisco Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Andrézinho Mota's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Alagoano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Francisco Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Célio Eger hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Palmares Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Superação were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
