Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michel Agüero kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Jonathan Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ian Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute of the match Jucuitiba got a corner. Xanda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Guilherme Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Guilherme Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ian Melo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the match, Michel Agüero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Melo, 2-0. Ian Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jucuitiba getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. José Maria Vaz hit a great ball. Michel Agüero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Ian Melo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Doriva Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto da Silva's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renan Paes in the 30th minute of play. Ian Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Romero went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Jonathan Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jucuitiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ian Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Romero in the 38th minute. Luiz Fernando Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Figueiredo having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Romero scored 6-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Jucuitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Leal to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto da Silva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Xanda FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Henrique Ramos hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Agüero in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Melo saved Xanda FC from getting behind. Xanda FC's Ian Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Agüero in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Jucuitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Freire to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Xanda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Agüero came free, but Ian Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Michel Agüero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jucuitiba had played much better football throughout.
