Despite a couple of nice moves Alexandre Martins's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Dagoberto Valadares was beeing forced to shoot. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by E.C Vera Cruz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dagoberto Valadares was slow to take the kick. During this time RED-STAR's players had a chance to rest. RED-STAR's Dagoberto Valadares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexandre Martins in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Braga in the 44th minute of play forced E.C Vera Cruz's goalkeeper Alexandre Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ksawery Bielatowicz made a kick off. Iwan Wojtyna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Wiarda in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Carlsson in the 56th minute of play forced E.C Vera Cruz's goalkeeper Alexandre Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, E.C Vera Cruz's Nildo Arruda got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Dagoberto Linhares could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Alexandre Martins however easily saved by the left post. 杨志翀 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Alexandre Martins made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match RED-STAR got a corner. E.C Vera Cruz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dagoberto Valadares ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led RED-STAR's Dagoberto Valadares to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandre Martins despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 杨志翀 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 杨志翀 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Alexandre Martins made a huge save. In the 85th minute Dagoberto Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Ksawery Bielatowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. E.C Vera Cruz's Alexandre Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save E.C Vera Cruz from getting a goal against them. E.C Vera Cruz were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
