Luiz Fábio Arósio scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinícius Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute, Calopsita EC's Luiz Fábio Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Vinícius Marques made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Semih Şentürk sent off a good shot on target. Semih Şentürk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinícius Marques came out and tried to block the shot, but Semih Şentürk slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Semih Şentürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Semih Şentürk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Vinícius Marques 20 minutes into the match. Luiz Fábio Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius Marques having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Luiz Fábio Arósio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Semih Şentürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vinícius Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Semih Şentürk lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Vinícius Marques. Semih Şentürks short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Vinícius Marques to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Calopsita EC's Semih Şentürk got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Desportivo Coimbra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Paraense's late challenge caught a Calopsita EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vânderson Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Desportivo Coimbra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calopsita EC:s goal. Ulysses Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semih Şentürk in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinícius Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nándor Gál kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semih Şentürk in the 69th minute of play forced Desportivo Coimbra's goalkeeper Vinícius Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fábio Arósio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Marques having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Semih Şentürk put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vinícius Marques. 77 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coimbra's goal looked a bit too open when Semih Şentürk came free, but Vinícius Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Semih Şentürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Calopsita EC's Anak Dewa made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Fábio Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinícius Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Arósio in the 96th minute of play. Calopsita EC's Luiz Fábio Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinícius Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calopsita EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
