Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Jerônimo Moreno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ksawery Bielatowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ksawery Bielatowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Dante having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Enio Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Arne Ström hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Eriberto Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BARBARIDADE G.M.'s protests and gave Eriberto Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BARBARIDADE G.M. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eriberto Araújo hit a great ball. Alexandre Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerônimo Moreno's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalkeeper Genílson Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ksawery Bielatowicz. Enio Gomes took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Martins. Alexandre Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jailson do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. E.C Vera Cruz's Alexandre Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Moreno in the 37th minute of play. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Enio Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ksawery Bielatowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Alexandre Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, E.C Vera Cruz's Diego Rivas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A collision led to E.C Vera Cruz getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Rivas hit a great ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C Vera Cruz's goalkeeper Alexandre Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ksawery Bielatowicz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, E.C Vera Cruz's Ksawery Bielatowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Dante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 61 played minutes BARBARIDADE G.M. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gamarra. In the 67th minute, Mathias Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Martins came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Jerônimo Moreno. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Gomes in the 71st minute of play forced E.C Vera Cruz's goalkeeper Alexandre Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genílson Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Bielatowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enio Gomes might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enio Gomes ran back to his position shaking his head. Genílson Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Bielatowicz in the 83rd minute of the match. The BARBARIDADE G.M. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
