Desportivo Coimbra's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Neymar Håland scored to the left of an out of position Vinícius Marques, making the score, 1-0. Rômulo Queirós's late challenge caught a Lovat SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the match, Neymar Håland notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques. Vinícius Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, 王诚城 took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Vinícius Marques to make any attempt to save it. 王诚城 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinícius Marques having to make a save. Vinícius Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 王诚城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Túlio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Berger in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lovat SS's goalkeeper Túlio Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When 王诚城 came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Lovat SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 王诚城 couldn't finish the play. Adilson Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vinícius Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 王诚城 struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vinícius Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lovat SS. When Arnaldo Eger came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Desportivo Coimbra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Eger couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 王诚城 was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Desportivo Coimbra getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Rômulo Queirós hit a great ball. Neymar Håland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coimbra defense, 王诚城 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinícius Marques. The Desportivo Coimbra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinícius Marques should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lovat SS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Koehler hit a great ball. In the 59th match minute, Desportivo Coimbra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Eger to maneuver through the defense. Vinícius Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 王诚城 in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Lovat SS's 王诚城 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinícius Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Túlio Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Eger in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Lovat SS's Neymar Håland made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinícius Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Neymar Håland notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Desportivo Coimbra's Vinícius Marques. Vinícius Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Antônio de Medeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinícius Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Toni Kroos's late challenge caught a Desportivo Coimbra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toni Kroos helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice moves Arnaldo Eger could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Túlio Peres however easily saved by the left post. Túlio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Berger in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Desportivo Coimbra players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lovat SS.
