AITEC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 10 minutes of play, Corrupção DMZ's Sílvio Luiz Quintal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The tension between the Corrupção DMZ and the AITEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Corrupção DMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AITEC:s goal. Tulio Maravilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Gaspar having to interfere. With a little luck, AITEC's Danilo Guerra got control of the ball when Diego Armando tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Quintal in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Tulio Maravilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, AITEC's goalkeeper Danilo Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando. In the 42nd minute Sílvio Luiz Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Diego Armando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Guerra. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The Corrupção DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Corrupção DMZ's Diego Armando looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th match minute, AITEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Corrupção DMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
