Washington Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Triplo Malte F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Kolacki. Diguinho de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Diguinho de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Nascimento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Laçador FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Adrian Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Laçador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lovel Pedrero to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Triplo Malte F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Delmiro Urtsua hit a great ball. Laçador FC's Falcão Baiano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Washington Saldanha but with some difficulty. In the 26th minute of the match, Tadeu Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Washington Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laçador FC's Nemesio Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Bastos in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Kolacki got free with Washington Saldanha in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 played minutes Triplo Malte F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Bastos. Thanks to some nice moves Lovel Pedrero could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Washington Saldanha however easily saved by the left post. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Triplo Malte F.C. from getting a goal against them. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Baiano in the 36th minute of play. Laçador FC's Nemesio Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Vale in the 38th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Tadeu Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Kolacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiquinho Cerezo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Tadeu Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Washington Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lovel Pedrero in the 63rd minute of the match. Laçador FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Falcão Baiano in the 65th minute. Laçador FC's Tadeu Nascimento was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Washington Saldanha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adrian Rios's late challenge caught a Laçador FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Rios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Adrian Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Kolacki in the 80th minute of play. Herbert Kolacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Rios did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Nemesio Jaen 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Adrian Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laçador FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Triplo Malte F.C. for a fine match.
