Tulio Maravilha scored 4-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timofey Solomakhin took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Quadros. Mateus Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 26 played minutes AITEC got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Recife. Phoenix Fc's Vivaldo Alvarenga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dida Terra in the 27 minute of the game. Danilo Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilton Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

The wind increased when Tiago Gabriel Loureiro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Tulio Maravilha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Quadros. Phoenix Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tulio Maravilha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Phoenix Fc's Mateus Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tulio Maravilha in the 86th minute of play. AITEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tulio Maravilha in the 87th minute. Mateus Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Timofey Solomakhin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AITEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. AITEC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
