Washington Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Murillo Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Washington Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murillo Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. Washington Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Băieșu in the 10th minute of play forced Triplo Malte F.C.'s goalkeeper Washington Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Murillo Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Washington Saldanha. Triplo Malte F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Murillo Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the SNIPER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Hermes couldn't finish the play. Marcinho Donatello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Rios in the 22nd minute. Juninho Bastos charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Triplo Malte F.C.'s Juninho Bastos got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Triplo Malte F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Doru Băieșu came free, but Washington Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SNIPER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kornél Huszti in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Kornél Huszti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha did a great save. In the 31stth minute of the game Murillo Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcinho Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Secco in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Triplo Malte F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leoš Dočkal came free, but Washington Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leoš Dočkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Murillo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SNIPER's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Washington Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Triplo Malte F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Urtsua. Murillo Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Washington Saldanha made a huge save. Washington Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Băieșu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Delmiro Urtsua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Murillo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SNIPER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murillo Hermes in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Washington Saldanha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the game, Murillo Hermes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Washington Saldanha. Murillo Hermes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Triplo Malte F.C.! The referee gave SNIPER a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Doru Băieșu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Triplo Malte F.C.'s Washington Saldanha. 1-6. When Juninho Bastos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute, Juninho Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Murillo Hermes put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Washington Saldanha. The crowd rose to their feet as Doru Băieșu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Washington Saldanha. That made the score 1-8 in the 91 minute of play. Washington Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doru Băieșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 96 played minutes Triplo Malte F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Vale. Washington Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Băieșu in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SNIPER had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
