Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baguás da Villa F C's Júlio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Mello in the 22nd minute of play. Romeu Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Ortiz in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luan Ortiz in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's José Paulo Mello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes Baguás da Villa F C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Vianna who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cercadinho's Walmyr Félix to fire away a dangerous shot which Júlio Peres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Roger Vianna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Júlio Peres to make any attempt to save it. Júlio Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Mello in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Júlio Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cercadinho. Adrian Dalmu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cercadinho were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Baguás da Villa F C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roger Vianna took the corner. After 69 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Dito Tasso. Rogério Ceni made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Osvaldo da Costa sent off a good shot on target. Baguás da Villa F C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Onur Yılmaz in the 71st minute. Baguás da Villa F C's Fred Luz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roger Vianna in the 76 minute of the game. José Paulo Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Cercadinho were awarded a corner. Roger Vianna went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 80th minute José Paulo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Júlio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cercadinho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
