Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5738, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gigi Covaci got the match started through his kick off. Cercadinho's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Covaci in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mello in the 8th minute of play forced Jequi's goalkeeper Rúben Trigueiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Jequi defense, Roger Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rúben Trigueiro. The Jequi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rúben Trigueiro should have stopped the shot. José Paulo Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Jequi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Ellershaw to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Jequi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, José Paulo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cercadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rúben Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rúben Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mello in the 24th minute of play. Cercadinho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Vianna in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Mello. In the 30th match minute, Jequi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Ellershaw to maneuver through the defense. 32 in the game Cercadinho's Roger Vianna showed how dangerous he can be in front of the goal when he by his own managed to get a clear opportunity for a shot. The following shot went just left of the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Cercadinho got a corner. Jequi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Vianna ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jequi's goalie and right to Abdulkadir Turay. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jequi's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Rúben Trigueiro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cercadinho's Claudinei Pirani. But to his dismay, Claudinei Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With 39 minutes on the clock, Facundo Quiroga commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Jequi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute, the referee gave Cercadinho a penalty. Roger Vianna looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Rúben Trigueiro. In the 43rd play minute José Paulo Mello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rúben Trigueiro. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Paulo Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. José Paulo Mello took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rúben Trigueiro. Rúben Trigueiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. José Paulo Mello took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rúben Trigueiro. Rúben Trigueiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rúben Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Mello in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Jequi's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Mello came free, but Rúben Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Vianna took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rúben Trigueiro. Rúben Trigueiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Rúben Trigueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Mello in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Roger Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Jequi's Genílson Pitta got a free kick in the 74th minute. Roger Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cercadinho's Valiente Venezian was substituted for José Paulo Mello. 82 minutes in the game Severino Duarte did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gigi Covaci. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro Prata got free with Rogério Ceni in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, Cercadinho's Valiente Venezian made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rúben Trigueiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Cercadinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
