The coaching staff of Guará FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gustavo Nascimento had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jânio Furlan came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by SIX STAR FC's Oscar Quirino. But to his dismay, Oscar Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Jânio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jesus Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Ribeiro in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Henrique Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Sandrinho Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jesus Rios came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrique Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 97th minute. The SIX STAR FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guará FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
