Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Carbonita got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Gaúcho. 6 minutes into the game, Elder Souto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Túlio Porto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hermínio Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Coutinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Hermínio Machado however easily saved by the left post. Hermínio Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto de Mendonça in the 17th minute of the match. Perivaldo de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perivaldo de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Carbonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Carbonita's Hermínio Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Carbonita from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Carbonita's Gugu Mendonça got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Reinaldo Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Machado skillfully saved the ball. Elder Souto hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Túlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Célio Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Alan Coutinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hermínio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto de Mendonça to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alan Coutinho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Carbonita's Hermínio Machado. Hermínio Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bebeto de Mendonça took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Machado. Hermínio Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapera's goalkeeper Túlio Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elias Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bebeto de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Hermínio Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapera. After 74 minutes of play, Tapera's Bebeto de Mendonça made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Carbonita booed when Tapera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Fonseca in the 84th minute of play forced Carbonita's goalkeeper Hermínio Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Carbonita's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto de Mendonça came free, but Hermínio Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jefferson da Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Túlio Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hermínio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Duarte in the 92nd minute of play. When Carbonita's Célio Motta in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapera's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute of the match Reinaldo Amaral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Machado skillfully saved the ball. Célio Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Tapera's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
