In the 4th minute of the match Twin Win Club got a corner. Lakers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Durval Esteves ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeu Barbosa got free with Benedykt Jaruzelski in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clóvis Velloso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Durval Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk in the 12th minute of play forced Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Lakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk came free, but Paulão Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulão Corrêa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Paulão Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twin Win Club. Romeu Barbosa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Chiquinho de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk in the 31st minute of play. Paulão Corrêa came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Twin Win Club's Durval Esteves. But to his dismay, Durval Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Esteves in the 36th minute of play forced Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Barbosa. Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulão Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar de Barros in the 46th minute of play forced Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Durval Esteves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa did a great save. Twin Win Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Durval Esteves in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Clóvis Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakers FC and the Twin Win Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Clóvis Velloso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Twin Win Club's Durval Esteves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulão Corrêa but with some difficulty. Durval Esteves struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Paulão Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twin Win Club. A collision led to Lakers FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Patrick Barral hit a great ball. Paulão Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Barbosa. Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Paulão Corrêa made a huge save. Paulão Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldinho Toscano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, one of Twin Win Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Twin Win Club. In the 72nd minute Durval Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Lakers FC's goalkeeper Paulão Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Décio Pernambucano. Paulão Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Leite in the 76th minute of play. Igor Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Paulão Corrêa was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Décio Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Décio Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. If Oscar de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Esteves in the 90th minute. Durval Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Durval Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twin Win Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulão Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Durval Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twin Win Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Paulão Corrêa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Esteves went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Twin Win Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
