Jesus Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, SIX STAR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Campidelis came free, but Jesus Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Quirino to make the kick off. Sandrinho Maranhense's late challenge caught a Esporte Clube Zeus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 61st minute Rafa Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo dos Santos in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Răica saved Esporte Clube Zeus from getting behind. Esporte Clube Zeus's Luan Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Félix was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of SIX STAR FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esporte Clube Zeus:s goal. In the 72nd match minute, SIX STAR FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy das Neves to maneuver through the defense. Chico Răica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Souza in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes SIX STAR FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Souza. Chico Răica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
