The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Souto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Túlio Porto. That made the score 4-0 in the 22 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Tapera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter Gala:s goal. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Inter Gala's Gustavo Salles got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Túlio Porto. Inter Gala's Edgar Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Souto succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 9-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Heinz Stalder made the kick off in the second half. 10-0 became the score in the 52nd minute when Heinz Stalder elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Alfredão Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Tapera got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Duarte. 59 minutes into the match, Heinz Stalder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Túlio Porto. Tapera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heinz Stalder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Heinz Stalder took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Túlio Porto. Túlio Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Tapera's Túlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Souto in the 66th minute of play. Túlio Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heinz Stalder's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Inter Gala's Edgar Souto in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tapera's goalie prevented a goal. After 70 minutes of play, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Gala's Dênis Cavalcante was substituted for Alfredão Brasil. 75 minutes into the game, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. If Richard Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Souto in the 81st minute of play. Heinz Stalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Edgar Souto made it 15-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tapera's Túlio Porto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Heinz Stalder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Gala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. After 94 minutes of play, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Gala's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
