Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Fontes came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Adalberto Vianna got a free kick in the 28th minute. Adalberto Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aloísio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 34th minute of play. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gil dos Santos in the 36th minute. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adalberto Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nilton Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Samuca Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Fontes in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Erivaldo Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 64th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Fontes in the 66th minute of the match. When Hermínio Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's protests and gave Hermínio Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rondinone F.C - FDFDF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hermínio Maciel hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Rogério Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton Fontes in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute Nilton Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nilton Fontes sped through Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuca Bezerra. Nilton Fontes struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Samuca Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores FC. After some careless play in the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF defense, Nilton Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Bezerra. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Bezerra should have stopped the shot. João Vítor Alves's late challenge caught a Matadores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vítor Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves got a free kick in the 95th minute.
