The corner led Vasconline's Wágner Branco to fire away a dangerous shot which Duarte Carneiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to RACING FBPA getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jorginho Campidelis hit a great ball. Duarte Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pawel Witkowski in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Jonathan Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RACING FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasconline the free kick. In the 21st minute, Jonathan Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rdth minute of the game Pawel Witkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When RACING FBPA's Rigoberto Vilaprenyo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mateo Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's Rigoberto Vilaprenyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goi Balpuesta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Vasconline's Vitinho Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Vitinho Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RACING FBPA's Duarte Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Braga in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, RACING FBPA's Jonathan Borges got a free kick in the 37th minute. Duarte Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Braga in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the RACING FBPA defense, Vitinho Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Carneiro. The RACING FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Carneiro should have stopped the shot. Duarte Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Braga in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Vitinho Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Carneiro. RACING FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Vitinho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Carneiro having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawel Witkowski to make the kick off. The supporters of Vasconline booed when RACING FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lovis Kirsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goi Balpuesta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Pawel Witkowski made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Carneiro. RACING FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Duarte Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasconline were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after RACING FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Telmo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vasconline's corner Mateo Telmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Carneiro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 66th minute, Pawel Witkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasconline fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 70th minute of the match Vasconline got a corner. RACING FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mateo Telmo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Vasconline's corner Mateo Telmo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duarte Carneiro quite easily take care of the ball. The Vasconline fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Vasconline's Pawel Witkowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Pawel Witkowski put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Carneiro. 80 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Witkowski came free, but Duarte Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasconline were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after RACING FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mateo Telmo took the corner. Duarte Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Duarte Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vasconline had played much better football throughout.
