Doriva da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Luiz Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antuérpia SC and the RACING FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RACING FBPA booed when Antuérpia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Doriva da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute RACING FBPA were awarded a corner. Rigoberto Vilaprenyo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rigoberto Vilaprenyo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Doriva da Fonseca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorginho Campidelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Doriva da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Andrzej Zaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60th play minutes Rigoberto Vilaprenyo shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Doriva da Fonseca and just under the crossbar into goal. Duarte Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Antuérpia SC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gino Gaúcho hit a great ball. Andrzej Zaworski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Duarte Carneiro made a huge save. In the 77thth minute of the game Rigoberto Vilaprenyo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antuérpia SC's Doriva da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, RACING FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zaworski came free, but Duarte Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Gregorio Indar in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RACING FBPA's Lain Plata. Doriva da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Campidelis in the 83rd minute of play. Ma Yong Zhi kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Antuérpia SC's Mala Kicia was substituted for Andrzej Zaworski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Jacinto got free with Duarte Carneiro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Antuérpia SC's João Vítor Castro got a free kick in the 96th minute.
