Vasconline's Pawel Witkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Antuérpia SC got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Zaworski. Antuérpia SC's Doriva da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Braga in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zaworski in the 46th minute of play forced Vasconline's goalkeeper Goi Balpuesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goi Balpuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Jacinto in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Antuérpia SC got a corner. Vasconline's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
