Régis Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Saldanha's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Mário Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Régis Leite made a huge save. The supporters of Palmeira booed when Toni Kroos MGZ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taci Özerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adhemar Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Isak Okoronkwo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Hu Yao Nan got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Saldanha in the 53rd minute of play forced Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalkeeper Régis Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
