Egídio dos Santos's late challenge caught a Clube de Jogadores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egídio dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Egídio dos Santos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The SKYBLADERS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube de Jogadores were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dênis Valle was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Durval Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Corrêa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dedé Lira. When Cléber Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SKYBLADERS FC's protests and gave Cléber Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Cléber Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, SKYBLADERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Valle came free, but João Vítor Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Valle in the 93rd minute of the match.
