Egídio dos Santos hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, SKYBLADERS FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Carioca. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmílson Maciel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilvan Zanette. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Edmílson Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Aníbal Marquez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilvan Zanette. The goal made the score 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Sérgio Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilvan Zanette. SKYBLADERS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sérgio Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gilvan Zanette was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Edmílson Maciel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmílson Maciel really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Gilvan Zanette didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Carioca went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Caneleiros FC's Teodoro Carioca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilvan Zanette. That made the score 8-0 after 43 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Teixeira to make the kick off. Gilvan Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Marquez in the 56th minute of the match. Tony Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilvan Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Marquez in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Aníbal Marquez made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan Zanette. SKYBLADERS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Aníbal Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gilvan Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SKYBLADERS FC defense, Aníbal Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilvan Zanette. The SKYBLADERS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Zanette should have stopped the shot. Norberto Paes's late challenge caught a Caneleiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Paes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SKYBLADERS FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Norberto Paes hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Aníbal Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caneleiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aníbal Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilvan Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SKYBLADERS FC's Gilvan Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Carioca in the 87th minute of play. Gilvan Zanette came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Caneleiros FC's Aníbal Marquez. But to his dismay, Aníbal Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. Serginho Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Carioca in the 95th minute of play forced SKYBLADERS FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caneleiros FC had played much better football throughout.
