The audience thought a goal was coming when Dênis Valle got free with Zé Sabóia in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathan Hames could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Zé Sabóia however easily saved by the left post. Clube de Jogadores's Luís Eduardo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Torres in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Saiko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Décio Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saiko FC and the Clube de Jogadores players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Valle in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clube de Jogadores's Luís Eduardo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Clube de Jogadores from getting a goal against them. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hames in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Clube de Jogadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Damião made a huge save. Dênis Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Doriva Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Torres's late challenge caught a Clube de Jogadores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Fábio Torres hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Doriva Linares put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clube de Jogadores fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Clube de Jogadores:s Luís Eduardo Damião showed great skill when he stopped Walmir Garcia:s penalty. With a little luck, Clube de Jogadores's Luís Eduardo Damião got control of the ball when Eliseu Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 姚旭杰 in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube de Jogadores's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Jonathan Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Durval Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Hames's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Durval Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Sabóia. Saiko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Hames in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Sabóia saved Saiko FC from getting behind. Saiko FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
